Food Policy Councils

Ms. Lovely, Ms. Rausch, Ms. Comerford, Messrs. Velis, Lesser and Cronin, Ms. DiZoglio, Mr. Moore, Ms. Moran, Ms. Gobi and Messrs. Eldridge, Feeney, Hinds, Pacheco, Gomez, O'Connor, Timilty, Cyr and Tarr moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 2511-0100, by inserting at the end thereof the following:- “; provided further, that not less than $250,000 shall be allocated for a grant program to be administered by the department in consultation with the Massachusetts food policy council to support local food policy councils"; and

in said section 2, in said item 2511-0100, by striking out the figure "$9,026,960 " and inserting in place thereof the figure:- "$9,276,960".
