Messrs. Eldridge, Moore and Brady, Ms. Chang-Diaz, Ms. Gobi, Ms. Rausch, Ms. Lovely and Messrs. Gomez and Timilty moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7004-9316, by inserting at the end the following words:- “A family shall not be denied assistance under this item based wholly or in part on the amount of the family’s assets; provided, however, that any income generated by such assets may be treated as countable income.”
