Early Education Affordability

Ms. Moran and Mr. O'Connor moved that the proposed new text be amended by inserting after section 4 the following section:-

“SECTION 4A. Section 2 of Chapter 15D of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-

The department, in consultation with the operational services division, shall promulgate regulations to allow for the provision of discounted child care rates by early education providers that accept child care subsidies to early childhood educators employed at such provider.”.
