Water Transportation Services in Mitigation of Harbor Tunnel Renovation Project

Ms. Edwards and Messrs. Crighton and Keenan moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 1595-6368, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $1,000,000 shall be expended for the operation of a water ferry connecting the town of Winthrop, the cities of Lynn and Quincy and the East Boston section of the city of Boston to mitigate commuter disruptions from the renovation of the Boston Harbor Tunnels”.
