Mr. Rush moved that the proposed new text be amended by inserting at the end of section 78 thereof the following new section:-

“SECTION XX.   Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, by no later than December 31, 2022, designate all commuter rail stations in the city of Boston zone 1A for the purposes of fare equity for city of Boston residents.”
