Amendment #4 to H2025

Public Testimony

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Ferguson of Holden, Frost of Auburn, Gifford of Wareham, Barrows of Mansfield and Smola of Warren move to amend the order by inserting after the word “remotely”, in line 155, of proposed rule 1C, the following sentence:- “All testimony presented at joint committee hearings, including written testimony, shall be made available to the General Court and members of the public and archived on the website of the General Court.”

Further moves to amend the order by inserting after the word “session”, in line 177, of proposed rule 1D, the following sentence:- “Committee chairs shall provide to members of the committee copies, either electronic or physical, of bills which have been redrafted at least 24 hours prior to an executive session for which the redrafted bill is being considered."
