Establishing a $500 credit for paying into the National Flood Insurance Program

Mr. Kearney of Scituate moves to amend the bill moves to amend the bill by adding the following:-

"SECTION XXXX. Section 6 of chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following subsection:-

(dd) To be eligible for credit under this subsection a taxpayer shall pay into the  National Flood Insurance Program. The income tax credit shall be for $500."
