Alewife Brook Dredging and Flood Mitigation Study

Representatives Rogers of Cambridge, Garballey of Arlington and Barber of Somerville move to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 2000-0100, by inserting after “departments” the following: “provided, that not less than $150,000 shall be expended to the Mystic River Watershed Association for a hydraulic study to model the potential effects of dredging and identify specific actions needed to protect affected communities, including Environmental Justice Communities, around the Alewife Brook in Arlington, Cambridge, and Somerville from flooding and other hazards”; and in said item by striking the figure “$15,547,134” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$15,697,134”.
