BabySteps Savings Plan

Mr. Ultrino of Malden moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 0610-0010, by inserting after “residents” the following:- “; provided, however, that no less than $500,000 shall be expended to the Economic Empowerment Trust Fund established by section 35QQ of chapter 10 of the General Laws; provided further that funds shall be used to leverage private funds to support the BabySteps Savings Plan; and provided further, that funds shall be used to promote geographic, social, racial and economic equity”; and in said item by striking out the figures “$1,626,701” and inserting in place thereof the figures:- “$2,126,701”
