Amendment #1098 to H3900

Graduate Nursing Practice

Ms. Kilcoyne of Clinton moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

SECTION XX: Chapter 20 of the acts of 2021, as amended by chapter 42 of the acts of 2022, is hereby amended in Section 25 by striking out the words “(iii) the health care services are provided in response to the COVID-19 outbreak; and (iv) the employing licensed health care facility or licensed health care provider has verified that the individual is a graduate of a registered nursing or practical nursing program approved by the board or that the individual is a senior nursing student attending the last semester of a registered nursing or practical nursing program approved by the board” and replacing them with the following:-

“and (iii) the employing licensed health care facility or licensed health care provider has verified that the individual is a graduate of a registered nursing or practical nursing program approved by the board or that the individual is a senior nursing student attending the last semester of a registered nursing or practical nursing program approved by the board”

and further amended by striking out Section 31A and inserting in place thereof the following:-

Section 31A. Section 27A shall take effect on June 30, 2024.
