Amendment #1103 to H3900

Teamsters Local 25 Driver Training Program

Mr. McMurtry of Dedham moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7003-0100 by adding in the last line after the word “sector” the following: 

“; provided that not less than $475,000 shall be expended for the expansion of the Teamsters Local 25 Driver Training Program for the purpose of accelerating training of commercial truck drivers; provided that these funds may be expended to purchase and install a commercial truck driving simulator to accelerate training opportunities for students; provided further that the funds appropriated in this item shall not revert but shall be made available through June 30, 2026;”

And further, at the end by striking the figure, “$1,656,126” and inserting the following: “$2,131,126”
