Amendment #1181 to H3900

Office of Travel and Tourism 250th Anniversary Funding

Representatives Ciccolo of Lexington and Cataldo of Concord move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7008-0900, by inserting after "post-pandemic environments" the following:

"and provided further, that no less than $2,000,000 be appropriated to the office of travel and tourism for the costs of planning and celebrating the commonwealth’s 250th anniversary of the American Revolution; and ton June 30th, 2024, any remaining funds from said $2,000,000 shall be remitted to the Massachusetts Tourism Trust Fund established in Chapter 23A Section 13T of the Massachusetts General Laws and be reserved for the 250th celebration."; and by striking out the figure "$3,184,019" and inserting in place thereof the figure "$5,184,019"
