Amendment #1366 to H3900

Veteran's Bonus

Mr. Cassidy of Brockton moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 0610-2000, by striking out the figures “$300,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures: “$350,000”:

and further moves to amend the bill by adding the following sections:

"SECTION XXXX. Item 0610-2000 of section 2 of chapter 126 of the acts of 2022 is hereby amended by striking out the words:- ‘provided, that the office of the state treasurer may expend not more than $300,000 for costs incurred in the administration of these payments;’

SECTION XXXX. Item 0610-2000 of said section 2 of said chapter 126 of the acts of 2022 is hereby further amended by inserting after the words ‘approved in the prior fiscal year’ the following words:- ‘; and such funds shall be made available until June 30, 2024’”.
