Security Personnel Program

Mr. Rogers of Cambridge moves to amend the bill in section 2, in line 8000-0313 by inserting the following "; provided further, that not less than $300,000 shall be expended by the executive office of public safety and security for a security personnel program to be piloted at nonprofits that have demonstrated to be at high risk for terrorist attacks or hate crimes; provided further, that the participating nonprofits shall contribute matching funds to such pilot program equal to $1 for every $1 contributed by the commonwealth. Provided further, that such funds may support the cost of existing security personnel when there is demonstrated need" and in said item by striking out the figures "$100,000" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$400,000."
