Translation, Civic Engagement and Participation Fund for the Town of Amherst

Ms. Domb of Amherst moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7010-1193, in line 6, by inserting after "commonwealth" the following: "; provided further, that not less than $50,000 be expended to the Town of Amherst’s Translation, Civic Engagement, and Participation Fund to support translation services, and/or promote engagement and inclusion, and/or alleviate economic hardship, and/or facilitate participation in civic activities"; and in said item by striking out the figures "1,000,000" and inserting in place thereof the figures "1,050,000".
