Amendment #1491 to H3900

Saving Towards Affordable and Sustainable Homeownership Program

Mr. McGonagle of Everett moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7002-0036, by inserting after the word “housing” the following:

“provided further that not less than $3,500,000 shall be expended for the Saving Towards Affordable and Sustainable Homeownership program administered by the Massachusetts Affordable Housing Alliance, Inc. to assist first generation homebuyers in a regionally equitable manner to benefit communities throughout the commonwealth” and in said item by striking out the figures “$2,500,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “6,000,000.”
