Peer Respite Housing
Ms. Sabadosa of Northampton moves to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 5046-0000, by inserting the following: “provided further that not less than $2,000,000 be allocated to the Wildflower Alliance to create two new peer respite programs, one of which must be LGBTQIA+ focused and located in western Massachusetts, to allow adults to seek care in a non-institutional setting as an alternative to hospital boarding.”
