Amendment #167 to H3900

Jumpstart

Mr. O'Day of West Boylston moves to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 3000-1000, by inserting at the end thereof the following "; provided further, that not less than $500,000 shall be expended to Jumpstart for Young Children, Inc. to provide support to evidence-based early childhood education programs that promote language, literacy, and social emotional skill development for preschool children from under-served communities in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts" and in said item by striking the figures "$11,591,537" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$12,091,537"
