Amendment #272 to H3900

The Zoo in Forest Park

Mr. Ashe of Longmeadow moves to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 7007-0952, by adding the following: “and provided further that not less than $150,000 be expended to The Zoo in Forest Park for the expansion of The Zoo’s Kids Go Wild program providing free programming to community partners, year-round daily care of 250+ animals, and additional educational opportunities for youth and adults across western Mass including an internship program”, and to further amend said item by striking out the figures “$4,700,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$4,850,000”.
