Amendment #323 to H3900

Massachusetts Vietnam Veterans of America Benefits Program

Mr. Puppolo of Springfield moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 1410-0012, by adding at the end thereof, the following: "; provided further, that not less than $200,000 shall be expended for the Massachusetts Vietnam Veterans of America Benefits Program to directly support and serve Veterans and their families throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.   This funding will be used to assist Massachusetts Veterans and their families applying for VA Healthcare, VA education programs, VA disability claims, and the completion of applications for other earned VA and local organization benefits, and further amending said item by striking out the figures "$9,519,222" and inserting in place thereof the following new figures "$9,719,222".
