Funding for PFAS Remediation in Rehoboth

Mr. Howitt of Seekonk moves to amend the bill in section 2 in item 1599-0026, by inserting after the words “municipal improvements” the following:- “provided further that not less than $350,000 shall be expended to the town of Rehoboth for the remediation, testing, and supplies for water systems contaminated by PFAS, as well as the setting up and maintaining of filtration systems in residents’ homes.”
