Fraud and Security Protection for Seniors, Minority, and Underrepresented Communities

Mr. Soter of Bellingham moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 0810-0000, by inserting the following:- “provided further that not less than $45,000,000 shall be expended for the creation of a fund to reimburse those in the senior, minority, and underrepresented community who have lost funds because of proven fraud or scam, and provided further that 5,000,000 shall be expended for the creation of a task force to promote education to senior, minority, and underrepresented communities about fraud and scams.”
