Amendment #426 to H3900

City of Newton park improvements

Ms. Balser of Newton moves to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 2810-0122, by adding the following:

“; provided further, that not less than $150,000 shall be expended to the City of Newton Department of Parks, Recreation, and Culture; of which not less than $50,000 shall be for Kennard Conservation Area trail improvements including boardwalks in wet areas, not less than $50,000 shall be for Kessler Conservation Area improvements including a boardwalk and bridge, and not less than $50,000 shall be for the Newton Upper Falls Greenway for ADA improvements and site furnishings;”

and in said item, by striking the figure “100,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure: “250,000”.
