Amendment #492 to H3900
Food Insecurity in Everett
Mr. McGonagle of Everett moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 2511-0100, by inserting after the word “shellfish” the following:
“provided further, that not less than $200,000 be expended to the City of Everett to address food insecurity in the City of Everett in an ongoing effort with the Planning Department by providing fresh and local produce to low-to-moderate income families at no cost through existing partnerships with Fresh Truck, Everett Community Growers, the Everett Food Policy Council, local farms, and both privately-funded and publicly-funded food pantries” and in said item by striking out the figures “$10,561,229” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$10,761,229.”
