Amendment #538 to H3900

Safe & Supportive Schools

Ms. Balser of Newton moves to amend the bill in Section 2, in line item 7061-9612, in line 29, by inserting after “said chapter 69;” the following:

“provided further, that schools receiving continuation grants shall, at the end of the grant year, submit a self-reflection report to the department detailing progress made in implementing their school wide action plans; provided further, that the department shall provide such self-reflection reports to the safe and supportive schools commission which shall summarize them in its annual report to the legislature;”

and in said item, in line 31, by inserting after “school improvement plans” the following:

“, which the department shall provide to the commission,”

and in said item, by striking the figure “$600,000” and inserting in place thereof the figure: “$700,000”
