Mr. Gentile of Sudbury moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 5911-1003, by inserting after “concept” the following: “provided further, that the department will promulgate regulations within 90 days which are consistent with the Real Lives Law: MGL Part 1, Title II, Section19B, Section 19; provided further, that the regulations not arbitrarily limit or prohibit the purchase of services, supports or goods which do not have an established rate as long as such costs can be reasonably covered in the participant’s individual budget as determined in subsection (e); provided further that any appeals process shall be consistent with existing appeal timelines established for individual support plans.
