Amendment #651 to H3900

State Universities Tuition and Fee Freeze

Mr. Rogers of Cambridge moves to amend the bill in section 2, by inserting the following new item:

“XXXX-XXXX   For funding for state university campuses to support a one-year tuition and fee freeze for the academic year 2023-2024; provided, that tuition and fees will continue to be set by each respective board per chapters 15A and 75 of the General Laws and that such tuition and fee freeze is supported by and voted on by the respective board……..$17,000,000”
