Amendment #760 to H3900

Boston Youth Sports

Mr. Consalvo of Boston moves to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 7010-1192, by adding the following: “; and provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended to the city of Boston for the purposes of creating a youth sports fund whose uses include, but are not limited to, financial assistance to Boston youth participating in sports referee trainings, payments for travel expenses related to sports referee trainings, purchases of youth sports equipment for Boston Public School students facing financial barriers, providing financial assistance and/or waivers to applying in youth sports programs, and assisting Boston based non-profits to lower applications fees”, and provided further, in said item by striking the figure “100,000” and inserting in place thereof the figure “200,000”.
