Amendment #766 to H3900

National Guard Museum in Salem

Representatives Cruz of Salem and Arriaga of Chicopee move to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 8700-0001, in line 11, by inserting after the words “General Laws” the following:-“provided further, that no less than $250,000 be provided to the Office of the National Guard for the purposes of establishing a National Guard Museum in Salem. Said funds shall be used for underwriting research and conceptual development programs and exhibitions; acquisition and conservation of artifacts; fabrication and installation of display cases; audio-visual and interactive design and installation of exhibits, operational costs, and general graphic designs” and by striking out the figures “$1,900,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figures: “$2,150,000”.
