Statewide Youth Sports Access and Education Funds

Mr. Cahill of Lynn moves to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 7008-1116, in line 1, by inserting after “projects” the following: “; provided further, that not less than $250,000 shall be expended for a grant program to support youth sports nonprofit programs that primarily serve low-income or marginalized students and seek to foster improved outcomes in physical health, mental well-being, school participation and sense of community”;  and in said item by striking out the figures “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$350,000”
