Forge manufacturing initiative

Ms. Howard of Lowell moves to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 7008-1116, by adding the following at the end thereof: "Provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended to FORGE to promote manufacturing and innovation in Northeastern Massachusetts, through their office located in Lowell, by supporting manufacturing readiness for startups and connecting them to Massachusetts-based manufacturers to promote local supply chains, post-pandemic job growth, and future resiliency."
