Amendment #939 to H3900

Coastal Foodshed

Mr. Straus of Mattapoisett moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 2511-0107, in line 2, by inserting after the word “food” the following:-

“; provided, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended for the Coastal Foodshed initiative in the Greater New Bedford region to promote and grow the local food access economy and distribution channels for locally grown food”;

and in said item by striking out the figures “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$150,000”.
