Amendment #983 to H3900

Tourism Marketing Grant Timing Allocations

Mr. Cruz of Salem moves to amend the bill at the end thereof by inserting the following new section:-

SECTION XX. Section 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, grants from the amounts collected pursuant to subsection (a) of section 13T of chapter 23A of the General Laws allocated to regional tourism councils pursuant to clause (ii) of subsection (d) of said section 13T for fiscal year 2024 shall be distributed not later than December 15, 2023.

Section 2. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, grants from the amounts collected pursuant to subsection (b) of section 13T of chapter 23A of the General Laws allocated to regional tourism councils pursuant to clause (ii) of subsection (d) of said section 13T for fiscal year 2023 shall be distributed not later than December 15, 2023.
