MCOPA Appointments to the Firearms Control Advisory Board

Mr. Gentile of Sudbury moves to amend the bill in SECTION 49 §128 (a), in lines 1620, 1621, and 1622 by striking the words “2 members appointed by the governor, 1 of whom shall be a member of the Gun Owners Action League, Inc. and 1 of whom shall be a police chief selected from a list of four chiefs provided by the Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association Incorporated” and inserting in place thereof the words “1 member appointed by the governor, who shall be a member of the Gun Owners Action League, Inc.; 1 member appointed by the Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association Incorporated, who shall be a police chief”.
