Violent Crime Victims Compensation Fund

Mr. LeBoeuf of Worcester moves to amend the bill in section 116, in line 2496, by striking out the words “not less than $50 nor more than $100” and inserting in place thereof the words “not less than $100 nor more than $200”; and in line 2498, by inserting after “imprisonment” the following sentence: “50 percent of the fines collected in this section shall be deposited monthly with the state treasurer who shall deposit these funds into the victims of violent crime compensation fund.”
