Amendment for Supplement
Mr. González of Springfield moves to amend the bill Section 17 of Chapter 37 of the General Laws as amended by Section 19 of Chapter 24 of the Acts of 2021 is hereby further amended by striking out the second paragraph and inserting in place thereof the following paragraph: “The Sheriffs of the counties of Barnstable, Bristol, Dukes, Nantucket, Norfolk, Plymouth and Suffolk and the former counties of Berkshire, Essex, Franklin, Hampshire, Hampden, Middlesex and Worcester shall each receive a salary of $195,000. The salaries of the Sheriffs shall, on an annual basis, receive a cost of living adjustment in accordance with the parameters set forth by the Office of Administration and Finance for all state employees”.
