Amendment #57 to H4167

Non-profit security personnel program

Mr. Vitolo of Brookline moves to amend the bill moves to amend the bill in section 2CI, in line 283 by inserting after item 8000-1700 the following item:

xxxx-xxxx: Provided further, that $100,000 shall be expended by the executive office of public safety and security for a security personnel program to be piloted at nonprofits that have demonstrated to be at high risk for terrorist attacks or hate crimes; provided further, that the participating nonprofits shall contribute matching funds to such pilot program equal to $1 for every $1 contributed by the commonwealth; provided further, that such funds may support the cost of existing security personnel when there is demonstrated need.
