Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Exceptions

Ms. Giannino of Revere moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4400-1031 by inserting following :

provided that $6,000,000 shall be expended for nutritional assistance benefits to persons who meet all the eligibility requirements of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program except for those requirements related to immigration status, but are persons residing under color of law or are humanitarian paroles and in said item by striking out the figures $1,000,000 and inserting in place thereof the figures  $6,000,000;
