Amendment #8 to H4167

Westport Police Department Information Technology Infrastructure Upgrades

Mr. Schmid of Westport moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

"SECTION XXXX. Item 8000-0313 of section 2 of chapter 126 of the acts of 2022 is hereby amended by striking the words “provided further, that not less than $75,000 shall be expended for the Westport Police Department for the purchase, installation and training of an emergency vehicle preemption system” and inserting in place thereof the following words: - provided further, that not less than $75,000 shall be expended for the Westport Police Department for information technology infrastructure upgrades including, but not limited to, public record digitization and cloud storage and such funds shall be made available until June 30, 2024".
