Amendment #22 to H4460

Mr. Soter of Bellingham moves to amend the bill by striking item 1599-1213, contained in lines 24 to 44, in its entirety and replacing it with the following language:-

“1599-1213        For a reserve to support the commonwealth’s residents who have resided in the state for a minimum of 12 months; provided that priority be given to veterans, economically disadvantaged populations, and disabled individuals; and provided further that the funds be expended for initiatives and programs including but not limited to providing housing and workforce opportunities for citizens of the commonwealth. Any commonwealth agency or department administering programs or services supported by these funds shall require proof of residency for a period of 12  consecutive months …...……………………………………………………………..$245,000,000”
