Section 2A Amendment

Mr. Fernandes of Falmouth moves to amend the bill in section 2A, in item 1599-1213, by adding the following words: “; and provided further, that if the housing shelters and emergency shelters administered under the emergency housing assistance program are at more than 95 per cent capacity, the executive office shall give priority when filling shelter vacancies to a program-eligible person who is a veteran, as defined in clause Forty-third of section 7 of chapter 4 of the General Laws.
