Amendment #5 to H4460

Requiring a Competitive Bidding Process

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Ferguson of Holden, Frost of Auburn, Gifford of Wareham, Barrows of Mansfield and Smola of Warren move to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

“ SECTION X. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary,  any funds expended for the purpose of providing food through the emergency housing assistance program shall be subject to a competitive bidding process.”
