An Act relative to a model carrier reporting requirement.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Chapter 138 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 18C the following section:-

Section 18D. It shall be the duty of every railroad company, express company, common carrier, contract carrier, firm or corporation that brings, carries or transports wines, malt beverages or distilled spirits into the commonwealth to prepare, and file monthly with the commission, a report which shall include the name and license number of the supplier, the quantity of wine, malt beverages or distilled spirits; provided, however, said reporting requirement shall not apply to deliveries from certificate of compliance holders licensed pursuant to section 18B to wholesalers licensed pursuant to section 18.

Reports shall be submitted to the commission, on a monthly basis, on forms prescribed by the commission.
