Protecting Tax Exemption for Braille Publications

Mr. Owens of Watertown moves to amend the bill by striking out section 42 and inserting in place thereof the following section:

"SECTION 42. Section 6 of chapter 64H of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting in line 219 after the word “section” the following:  “produced in accessible formats such as braille, enlarged print, audio or electronic text for the intended use of individuals unable to read regular print due to a print disability,”.
