Amendment #1268 to H4600

Chicopee TV Equipment Upgrades

Ms. Arriaga of Chicopee moves to amend the bill by adding the following 2 sections:

SECTION XXXX. Item 7006-0071 of section 2 of chapter 28 of the acts of 2023 is hereby amended by striking out the words “item; and provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended for the city of Chicopee to replace equipment in order to continue to provide public and community access on the televisions of residents” and inserting in place thereof the following word:- item.

SECTION XXXX. Item 7008-1116 of said section 2 of said chapter 28 is hereby amended by striking out the words “Library in Every Classroom project” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- Library in Every Classroom project; and provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended for the city of Chicopee to replace equipment in order to continue to provide public and community access on the televisions of residents and such funds shall be made available until June 30, 2025.
