Amendment #1280 to H4600

Non-profit/Public Charity Distributions

Mr. Straus of Mattapoisett moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

"SECTION XXXX. Prior to the distribution of funds pursuant to this Act, entities or organizations subject to the Attorney General's Non-Profit Organizations/Public Charities Division in accordance with section 8 through section 8M inclusive of chapter 12 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, shall provide documentation to the contracting agency or department demonstrating that the entity or organization is in compliance with filings required by the Non-Profit Organizations/Public Charities Division.
