Amendment #129 to H4600

The Chica Project

Ms. Montaño of Boston moves to amend the bill in Section 2, line item 4513-2020 by inserting the following:

“provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended to The Chica Project to support the organization’s innovative, trauma informed and culturally affirming girls empowerment and mentoring program, making it possible to engage 150 new predominately African American and Latina young women from culturally rich but marginalized Boston neighborhoods, while also launching a new program for 100 program alumni.“
