Athletic Field Use

Representatives Hunt of Boston, Biele of Boston, Ryan of Boston and Consalvo of Boston move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 2810-0100, by inserting in line 18 after the word "year" the following: "; provided further, that permitting for use of athletic fields under the department’s purview shall be allocated to the following user groups in the following order of priority: a) general public use; (b) volunteer-managed non-profit youth groups or youth leagues comprised of volunteer-managed non-profit youth groups; (c) public high school teams; (d) private high school teams; (e) youth groups other than non-profit groups or non-profit groups with paid director other non-volunteer non-profit groups; (f) adult organizations; and (g) other groups”
