Medicaid Rate Add On Program

Mr. Barrett of North Adams moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4000-0641, in line 9, by inserting after "workers" the following: provided further, the executive office of health and human services shall establish a Medicaid rate add on program in the amount of $2,773,456 to recognize additional allowable costs to the Standard Base Rate for nursing facilities located within 5 miles of a Medicare-certified Critical Access Hospital  situated at 71 Hospital Avenue, North Adams, Massachusetts, as approved by the Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Public Health Council on December 13, 2023”.
