Amendment #186 to H4600

Catie's Closet

Mr. Ashe of Longmeadow moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7010-1192, by adding at the end the following: “and provided further that not less than $250,000 shall be expended to Catie’s Closet, Inc. to fund existing school locations and open new locations within Hampden County that provide students in kindergarten to grade 12, inclusive, who are low-income or homeless, with (i) in-school access to clothing, toiletries and basic necessities, and (ii) community-based resources including, but not limited to, social services, mental health services and behavioral health services”; and to further amend said item by striking out the figures “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figures “$350,000”.
